What's Next? Important Updates To Bad Art Club PT. 2
April & May BAC Updates, BAC Becomes a Paid Class in August, & a New Graffiti Class
April & May Bad Art Clubs: New Artists
April: Color Theory Workshop (Free)
Our original guest artist, Sophie Crouse, can no longer join us due to her new job’s hours.
I'm excited to introduce our new guest artist, Eric Cabbell!
Please note that this class is currently full, with a waitlist.
Guest Artist Bio: Eric is an artist, engineer, and art advocate from Raleigh, NC. Eric strives to do bold and interesting things with color theory and storytelling in his illustrations.
Activity Description: In this class we will focus on color mixing and making color charts.
May: Cartoon People Portraits (Free)
There is one spot open! Claim it while you can. You can also join the waitlist.
Important Update: Transitioning to a Paid Program
Starting in *August*, Bad Art Club will transition back to a paid format. This is due to the end of 6-month grant funding that made the class free.
*Originally, free Bad Art Club was ending in June. However, an anonymous sponsor reached out and now July’s BAC will also be FREE. We all win!
Details:
Bad Art Club will be $30/person starting in August. This low price is possible because The Carrboro ArtsCenter is providing classroom space, staff time, and the registration system for free until the end of 2025. Without this donation, BAC would be double this price.
As you can see, many partners are coming together to make BAC as low cost and awesome as possible. We are lucky to have each other. Thank you for exploring your creativity with Bad Art Club!
