Our original guest artist, Mer Haggerty, has a scheduling conflict and can no longer join us.
We're excited to introduce our new guest artist, Paper Izzy! Some of you may remember Paper Izzy from last year's Pet Portraits session.
Please note that this class is currently full, with a waitlist.
Bad Art Club: Cartoon People Portraits With Paper Izzy
May's Guest Artist: Paper Izzy creates human generated art inspired by pop music, video games, and anime.
Activity Description:
Izzy will share their process for creating cartoon-inspired portraits of people.
End of Free BAC for 2025 <3
Starting in July, Bad Art Club will no longer be free due to the end of grant funding. In July we will transition back to a paid format.
June BAC is the last free class this year and will open for registration soon.
I will re-apply for grant funding for next year.
I am currently working with the ArtsCenter to figure out the price of BAC
Thank You for Making BAC Free for 6 Months
Thank you to Orange County Arts Commission for providing funding for 6 free classes of BAC. This funding allows over 100 students to access BAC for free, and pays both myself and 6 local guest artists.
Thank you to the Carrboro ArtsCenter and Eno Arts Mill for generously donating the classroom space, staff time, and registration systems for Bad Art Club: Free for All.
New: Free Multi-Generational Class
This series is FREE for adults ages 55+. You will work with high schoolers from Chapel Hill High to create artworks that will go on display from May - June. Registration is open now! I am teaching :)

6:30-8 pm in Chapel Hill at the Seymour Center
Final project on display in May - June
Apply to Vend at the Chapel Hill Pride Promenade
Chapel Hill Pride is accepting applications for their NO FEE market in June.
