Summer Classes & Camps

This summer I am mainly teaching K-12 Summer Camps at Artspace (Raleigh) & The ArtsCenter (Carrboro). There are still spots in my classes if you know a kid who might appreciate the Bad Art approach. I am teaching zine-making, community-based art, surrealism, and tarot + magical art.

For adults, I am teaching Bad Art Club once per month. Registration for each month’s Bad Art Club will open on the 1st of that month. This is new, and some people were able to register for July/August before we implemented this change. Registration will reopen for July BAC on July 1st at 10 am.

The upcoming BAC dates are:

  • July 26, Free (thank you anonymous sponsor!), Graffiti writing + lettering

  • August 16, $30/person, Anthony Davy, Flowers made from soda tabs

Intergenerational Art Class

I had a blast teaching an Intergenerational Art Series at the Seymour Senior Center. Shout out to my 88 year old grandmother for participating. She just retired after 66 years of teaching. Our work was on display at the center for all of June.

Thank you for your support

To everyone who wrote a letter of support that I could submit with my grant application — I appreciate you so much! Also thank you to the private anonymous donor this week, and everyone who has done anything large or small to support Bad Art Club and myself as the little engine behind it. You all are my people!
