The Allure of Letterpress in Home Décor
Images below contain '“not-safe-for-work” words.
Letterpress posters are an integral part of my new apartment decor. If you wonder how to incorporate letterpress prints into your home, here are some ideas!
On my living room gallery wall, I used letterpress posters to create movement and continuity around larger paintings.
I love looking at them.
In my kitchen, I have a Letterpress poster as a feature on my fridge. This larger piece makes the fridge facade feel less cluttered while still adding art.
On my front door is a soft rainbow poster that makes me feel calm when entering and gives visitors a taste of my aesthetic.
My bathroom is always a special place for me because it’s a space where a lot of “magic” happens. So I put a BOLD print above my makeup to encourage me to reach for self-expression.
All posters were created at Penland School of Craft under Ben Blount who never censored my ideas and let me ask many questions along the way.
